I met Melissa when she came to us looking for a wedding gown. Although she found her dream gown elsewhere, she reconnected with us to help her design and decorate her wedding at the Valley Ridge Golf Club. Melissa wanted an Asian themed wedding and had lots of DIY ideas in mind. I held my breath a little bit when she told me the long list of DIY items she was going to do ALL BY HERSELF. I asked her if she will be delegating some of the items to her wedding party or holding a DIY "party." She said: "Nope, all by myself." Right before the wedding, I checked in with her and sure enough, she had completed all things she set out to do. As you go through the pictures, you will see a lot of personal touches made by her.
The ceremony and reception was held in the same room with a couple of hours apart to transform from one to the other. Purple and gold paper lanterns in various shades and sizes were hung up in the room to further the Asian theme. The focal point was a backdrop filled with purple ombre paper cranes. A total of 300 cranes were made for this backdrop. We utilized it for the ceremony when Melissa and Chris said their vows and the reception for their head table.

The team at this vow renewal location obviously loves what they do, as they were beaming the whole time, danced with us till the end of the party, and briefly joined the after party after dropping off our belongings at the hotel! We had a blast and all our guests did as well.
